SANTo gallery—Motion ad campaign

Timeline: 3 weeks
My Roles: Graphic/Motion

Project Overview

SANTO Gallery, a new fine art photography company founded by Daniel Malikykar, Co-Founder and Creative Director of MGX Creative, approached me to produce a series of motion design ads for social media. The objective was to create refined, gallery-inspired motion pieces that seamlessly combined elegance and modernity—helping establish SANTO’s presence as a premium visual brand in the digital space.

The campaign called for a balance of technical precision and design sensitivity, ensuring each motion ad not only showcased the artwork but also embodied the brand’s minimalist, elevated aesthetic.

Creative Direction

The creative vision centered on fluid motion, spatial harmony, and subtle sophistication. Each motion mockup was designed to feel natural and immersive—enhancing the artwork without overpowering it. The challenge was to craft smooth swipe transitions and floating effects that reflected the gallery’s calm, curated tone while maintaining strong visual engagement for digital audiences.

The direction evolved across multiple formats:

  • Four-piece mockup: All artworks fading in simultaneously with a soft floating motion and seamless swipe transitions.

  • Single-piece mockup: A large, framed presentation emphasizing balance and spatial clarity.

  • Three-piece mockup: Vertical and horizontal compositions stacked together for layered visual depth.

  • Full-page swipe sequence: Horizontal slides paired with updated bottom text—creating narrative flow and clear communication.

Process & Approach

To maintain efficiency and organization, I began by cataloging all project assets into labeled folders for quick access and streamlined workflow. Next, I conducted visual research—studying contemporary social campaigns from art and lifestyle brands to understand pacing, transition rhythm, and typography treatments.

In After Effects, I focused on executing each sequence with precision: aligning frame timing, easing transitions, and fine-tuning opacity to ensure natural flow. By combining subtle motion cues with clean composition, I was able to capture SANTO’s minimalist tone while introducing depth and rhythm to each frame.

Solution & Outcome

The final motion pieces delivered on both aesthetic quality and brand consistency—elevating SANTO Gallery’s social presence through design that felt cinematic, modern, and artful. The animations showcased how motion and still imagery can coexist to tell a cohesive visual story.

This project reinforced my ability to merge brand storytelling and technical craft, producing motion design that not only communicates but also feels timeless and intentional.
