Project Summary
Transport Magazine was successful by scheduling weekly feedback from instructors, peers, and alumni. Research of competitors or magazines similar in tone. Setting realistic goals. Staying on track with my scheduled deliverables and communicating with my instructors.
This project was introduced to us before the break-in between school years. And the number one thing that I had the most fear was using the Adobe program Indesign. We briefly used Indesign for a couple of projects. But nothing too in-depth. That summer we were given a packet to learn how to use Indesign on a deeper level and by the time we start this project. My confidence in using the program went from anxiety to confident enough.
My aha moment with this project was when I was stuck on a certain page. I was ready to give up. I didn’t want any help. But what I did was revert back to those packets and how useful and simple they were to follow. From that point on Indesign has been my go-to software for most of my projects.
